Julia Sarah Stone as Lyric


Julia Sarah Stone is a Vancouver native whose acting journey began at the age of 10 with her first professional acting class, which led to her first role in a student film for Vancouver Arts Institute. Six months later she was cast in the lead role for the feature film The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom.

Stone continues to volunteer in local student and independent short films and studies with Vancouver acting instructors Kirsten Clarkson, Andrew McIlroy, Trish Allen and Kate Twa. Recent appearances include roles in R.L Stine's The Haunting Hour, Emily Owen's M.D., Vampire Dog, My Lupine Life, the Lifetime Movie Network movie of the week The Pastor's Wife, and the indie features Introvert's Guide to High School and Heart of Dance.

An avid reader, movie fan, theatergoer, skier, and accomplished martial artist, Stone also studies violin.
