A native of Dallas, TX, Jay Ferguson moved to Los Angeles and embarked on his acting career at the age of 14 when cast in the role of Ponyboy in the series adaptation of the feature The Outsiders, and has been working steadily in television, film and stage roles ever since.

Ferguson’s feature credits include a lead role opposite Zac Efron in The Lucky One, for Oscar-nominated director Scott Hicks as well as Michael Winterbottom’s The Killer Inside Me and John Singleton’s Higher Learning. His extensive television credits include series regular roles on Sleeper Cell, Surface, Easy Money and Evening Shade as well as guest appearances on Judging Amy, Castle, Burn Notice and Weeds.
