Mad Men Season 5 Christopher Stanley Henry Francis

Henry Francis is married to Don Draper 's  ex-wife Betty. He currently works for New York mayor John Lindsay, but used to be the Director of Public Relations and Research for Nelson Rockefeller. Henry and Betty meet at a party hosted by Roger and Jane Sterling. After Henry's political maneuvering helps Betty and other housewives thwart a development project, he tells her that he enjoys making her happy and kisses her.

Betty begins writing Henry secret letters. To disguise the true purpose of a visit Henry makes to see her in Ossining, Betty agrees to host a Rockefeller fundraiser. When Henry doesn't attend, Betty drives to his office to demand an explanation. "You had to come to me," he contends. "You're married." The two kiss, but when he locks his door she stops: "It's tawdry," she explains before leaving.

Shortly after Betty discovers Don's true identity, she and Henry marry. Henry asks her not to request a financial settlement so she can make a clean break from Don, but Betty insists on remaining in the Ossining house past the deadline stipulated in the divorce agreement. Her agitation after running into Don with a date leads Henry to speculate that her ex-husband still has a place in her heart.

Henry provides parenting advice drawn from his experience raising his daughter from a previous marriage, though Betty doesn't always follow it. After observing her behavior with daughter Sally at a holiday dinner, Henry's mother tells him that Betty's children are "terrified of her," adding that Henry could have gotten what he wanted from Betty without marrying her.
