In Hell on Wheels, Phil Burke stars as young Irish immigrant Mickey McGinnes who has come to the American west with his brother to find his fortune.
Phil Burke recently filmed a role in the upcoming Judd Apatow feature This Is 40 for Universal. Born in Toronto, Canada to immigrant parents from Ireland, Burke attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He has appeared in several plays and commercials in the New York area as well as independent features such as Bad Apples directed by Ryan Cummings and Ibid, written and directed by Russell Friedenberg. Burke has also guest starred on NBC’s hit show Law & Order, ABC’s The Good Wife and had a recurring role on the NBC series Mercy.
