Episode 10: Super Hoagie

The guys compete to make the best sandwich to represent the Stash. One of the world's most valuable comics comes web-slinging through the door. Read more...

After Bryan discovers that Readie's -- a nearby sandwich shop which offers a number of sandwiches named after local businesses -- does not offer a sandwich named after the Secret Stash, Walt is determined to get the store added to the menu. The Readie's manager is amenable to adding a Stash sandwich, and when he suggests that the guys create one, Walt decides to make it a competition. Ming immediately pairs up with Michael, who once worked as a chef, leaving Walt and Bryan to work together. In the end, Ming and Michael’s sandwich (fried chicken, bacon, extra sharp cheddar cheese, and apple jam on semolina bread) is chosen as the winner over Walt and Bryan’s sandwich (fried chicken, grilled chicken, ham, roast beef, bacon, Jack cheese, Colby cheese, and lettuce on Portuguese and semolina bread). Separately, Walt buys a pair of Wolverine-style claws as well as a Chewbacca model kit, and has a seller turn down his offer for a Flash of Two Worlds statue. Walt also calls in Robert Bruce to consult on an offer for a landmark comic book that has never been brought into the Secret Stash before: Amazing Fantasy #15, the issue that introduced Spider-Man. Unfortunately, Walt's final offer for the issue he deems "the Stanley Cup of comics" is declined by the seller.
