When a seller comes in looking to sell an original 1979 Atari Asteroids arcade cabinet, Walt is interested, but the negotiation takes an unusual turn: When Walt and the seller reach an impasse, a customer steps in and offers to buy the cabinet instead. Walt decides to allow the seller to negotiate with his customer in exchange for a 5% commission on the sale, and the seller and the customer reach a deal. Later, Walt purchases five key issues of Amazing Spider-Man: 101 (the birth of Morbius the Living Vampire), 121 (the death of Gwen Stacey), 129 (the first appearance of The Punisher), 300 (the first appearance of Venom) and 36 (September 11th attack on New York). Plus, Walt buys three Star Wars ships and a vintage G.I. Joe Night Raven jet (but declines a set of G.I. Joe 3 ¾” action figures).
