Ted Beneke Played by Christopher Cousins

Ted Beneke, a divorced father of two, is Skyler's boss at Beneke Fabricators. Ted harbors romantic feelings for Skyler, which she originally downplays despite an incident at the company Christmas party. However, she starts sleeping with Ted to retaliate against Walt for moving back home during their divorce.

"I f—ed Ted," Skyler announces to Walt after the affair begins. Walt arrives at Beneke Fabricators to confront Ted. He's thrown out of the building, but not before Skyler's coworkers witness Walt's outrage. Despite their exposure as lovers, Ted and Skyler continue the affair.

As bookkeeper at Beneke, Skyler discovers accounting irregularities and confronts Ted, who pleads with her not to report him. "The people that work here are like family — I can't let that fall apart because of a couple of bad years." Should he be caught, he says, he hopes his family would understand that his intentions were honorable.

Skyler never fully opens up to Ted. "I don't feel really comfortable talking about it," she replies when he asks what went wrong with her marriage, and the relationship cools after Hank is shot. After several days pass with no word, Ted visits Skyler at home. "I care about you," he says. "I'm here for you."

Skyler asks Ted to leave. "Is there some reason for secrecy I'm not getting?" he asks. "Are you really gonna make me do this right now?" she responds. Ted tells Skyler to take all the time she needs, and quickly departs.
