Ed Bianchi was the highest-paid commercial director in the world when Tom Fontana recruited him into series television with episodes of Homicide. His work in TV includes directing episodes of Law and Order: SVU, The Wire, Deadwood, John From Cincinatti and Brotherhood. He has two features to his credit, The Fan for Paramount and Off and Running, for HBO. He also conceived and directed the musical/dance title sequences for The Cosby Show. Ed has received countless awards for his work in commercials including, in 1986, "Best Director" from the Director Guild of America.
Ed is married to Carla Bianchi, and has three children Adam, Alan and Stella.
