Christina Hendricks began her career with a fitting role: She played an opportunistic, career-climbing intern on Showtime’s Beggars and Choosers. Like her character, she soon got her break as an actor. She landed a production deal with John Wells Productions in which she did numerous shows, such as TNT’s The Big Time, a recurring role on NBC’s ER and opposite Sally Field on ABC’s The Court. She also appeared in the cult hit show from Joss Whedon, Firefly, Cold Case and Without a Trace.

Before starring in Mad Men, she performed opposite Taye Diggs on UPN’s original series Kevin Hill.
