Newcomer Jaime Murray stars as Stacie Monroe in Hustle, her first major television role. "She has her head screwed on; she knows how to cope," says Murray of her character, played with all the devilish wit of the con genre's most celebrated femme fatales. Murray, who was born into a show business family, came to acting despite her family's best efforts to keep her out of the fray. "They wanted me to have an academic career," said Murray. She has appeared in Keen Eddie and a modern re-telling of The Taming of the Shrew, which aired on the BBC.
