Every year the American Cinematheque in L.A. awards an extraordinary artist who has made a significant contribution to the motion picture arts. On Mon., Dec. 1, George Lucas presented Samuel L. Jackson with the 23rd Annual American Cinematheque Award. The award presentation features tributes from Vin Diesel, Andy Garcia, George Lopez, John Singleton, Sharon Stone, and Denzel Washington.
